30 Day Challenge
30 Day Challenge! I am going to try and do one each month for a while, it’s going to be great.
I have been watching a lot of Ted Talks lately and have come to love a couple of them. One that I really enjoy is one called “30 Day Challenge” by Matt Cutts. He talks about taking 30 days to try something new and how 30 day challenges can change your life. The Ted Talk is just over 3 minutes long, you should watch it. You won’t be disappointed.
I have been working on fitness for the past six months, but not consistently. I am kind of a today and then in two days, and so on. I would like to get a consistent routine going and fit in some exercise each day.
I am going to post a picture below of my 30 day plan. I have created it for me to suit my needs. It starts off at my current fitness level and may need to be tweaked a bit as I get going. It starts off on Day 1 (which is September 1) with a 1 minute 30 second plank, 20 Russian Twists, 25 Squats, 20 Mountain Climbers, 25 Jumping Jacks, 10 Push Ups, 30 Minute Walk, and 10,000 Fit Bit Steps. By the end of Day 30, I would like to do a 2 minute 15 second plank, 40 Russian Twists, 40 Squats, 40 Mountain Climbers, 50 Jumping Jacks, 20 Push Ups, 30 Minute Walk, and 14,000 Fit Bit Steps. Challenge!
The hardest part is going to be actually doing it! I am the worst for starting something and you know, giving up in a week. We shall see how this goes, I am feeling pretty motivated for change, so it should be okay. I will have to keep you all updated on the progress.
