Date Night(or Day) Ideas

In the spirit of all things wedding this summer, I thought it would be cool to give the Bride a box of dates that she could go on with her new husband.  I call it the “Big Ol’ Box of Dates”.  I searched the internet for as many date ideas as I could find and added in a few of my own. I printed the dates out onto card stock and cut them into strips and put them in the box.I purchased a very pretty box from the local dollar store. I added some blank strips to the box as well, so the bride and groom could add date ideas that they come up with. Some of these date ideas sound like they could be really fun, I have listed them below.

Wake up at 4am & watch the sunrise together

Have an extravagant brunch at 8am

Go to an art gallery during the afternoon

Bring half an evening. One person brings the food, & the other brings a movie!

Netflix date

Make a fort

Bring your favourite book & read the first chapter aloud.

Do something neither of you have done before Pottery class? Swing dancing lessons? It’s nice to share an experience that is new to both of you!

Random restaurant date. Search for restaurants in your area, close your eyes, roll your mouse & point at the screen.

Decorate a Christmas tree together

Playground date.  Slides and monkey bars are fun plus whatever else the park has to offer

Tree-climbing date

Art date. Get a canvas or a big piece of paper, some paint, pencils or pastels, & go crazy.
